Odesa International Film Festival lost the opportunity of gathering moviemakers from all over the world within its walls, for well-known reasons.
But the movies kept coming and we couldn’t leave them on the street. Therefore, OIFF switched to a new online format and asked us, BBDO Ukraine, to help tell people about it.
We managed to combine big movies with small screens, creating a wide-ranging and dramatic story ‘Let the movies in’, combining it with a series of key visuals.
Every great story stays inside us, becoming a fully-fledged part of our essence. Starting from this observation, we developed a series of visuals in which stories assume their rightful place: the eyes. In addition, we created the OIFF Instagram mask to boost the digital campaign.
Together with OIFF, Family Production and the famous Ukrainian director Akhtem Seitablayev, we created a video. The main character is movies looking for a new home.

We created the identity for 11th Odesa International Film Festival. The main part of the OIFF visual code was the beam of the projector, in which hundreds of fascinating stories live.
